Robert C. O'Reilly
Robert C. O’Reilly, MD, FACS is Director of the Balance and Vestibular Program at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. He is Professor of Otolaryngology –Head and Neck Surgery at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and the Perelman School of Medicine of the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. O’Reilly is a graduate of Thomas Jefferson University Medical School (1990) and completed residency in Otolaryngology at the same institution. He completed a fellowship in neurotology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and is board certified in otolaryngology, head and neck surgery. Dr. O’Reilly’s basic science and research publications have included techniques of otologic surgery and disorders of the cochlea and vestibular systems. He has presented his work on pediatric balance disorders at national and international meetings. He is a winner of the Triological Society’s Harris P. Mosher Award for clinical research. Dr. O’Reilly’s current research includes assessment of static and dynamic balance in pediatric vestibulopathy the genetics of vestibular disorders, and strategies for bio-film disruption.
