Fran Redstone, PhD, CCC-SLP, C/NDT, is an associate professor at Adelphi University in New York. She has taught courses on motor speech disorders, oral-motor functioning, and communication systems for individuals with severe disabilities. Dr. Redstones research interests include all aspects of children with cerebral palsy including feeding, respiration, and communication skills. Additionally, she has provided therapy to children with multiple handicaps for more than 30 years. Dr. Redstone has lectured, presented workshops, and taught courses related to children with cerebral palsy and neurodevelopmental treatment throughout the United States and abroad.
