Dr. Lieu graduated from the Washington University School of Medicine and completed her otolaryngology training at the BJH/Washington University/SLCH consortium program. She obtained clinical research training at the Robert Wood Johnson Clinical Scholars Program at Yale University, then returned to St. Louis Children's Hospital for a pediatric otolaryngology fellowship.
Dr. Lieu is currently an Associate Professor of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri, a practicing pediatric otolaryngologist at St. Louis Children's Hospital, the Program Director for the Otolaryngology residency program, and Vice-Chair for Education. Her research interests include hearing loss, otitis media, quality of life in children with otolaryngologic disorders, and improving the level of evidence in the otolaryngology literature.
