Barbara D. Weinrich, PhD, CCC-SLP, is professor emerita in the Department of Speech Pathology and Audiology at Miami University (Ohio); research associate at the Center for Pediatric Voice Disorders at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio; and fellow of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). She has presented workshops and her research at the state and national level since 1975. Her research focuses on assessment and treatment of voice disorders, including a variety of approaches to unique voice problems and treatment efficacy. Currently, she is examining physiologic and perceptual voice changes as boys who sing progress through puberty. Her publications can be found in the Journal of Speech, Language, and Hearing Research and the Journal of Voice, among others. Dr. Weinrich began her clinical experience in 1968 and maintains an active private practice.
