Professions we Serve

The core market areas of Plural Publishing are: Speech Language Pathology, Audiology and Hearing Science, Otolaryngology, Gastroenterology, Oncology, and Neurology.

Plural's founders have a long association with the Speech, Language and Hearing professions, which were the focus of their former publishing companies. Plural Publishing differs from these companies in that its focus expands from the Speech, Hearing and Language professions in response to the changing nature of medical publishing. Legal and social factors, as well as the increase in multi-disciplinary approaches to treatment have opened up newer market areas, notably gastroenterology, where treatment of laryngeal cancers or swallowing disorders are jointly undertaken by otolaryngologists, gastroenterologists, speech pathologists, dieticians, and others. Plural's involvement in communication disability brought around by cancers has opened up publishing plans for oncology and, likewise, in neurology through dementia, aphasia, brain tumor, and much more. Plural Publishing proudly expands its focus to address these changes in the profession of communication sciences and disorders.
