Plural Publishing, Inc. consists of a powerful team of people with a variety of professional, academic, and publishing skills and expertise.
Sneha S. Singh
President & CEO
Mrs. Singh, co-founder of Plural Publishing, Inc., carries forward the goals established by the company by implementing them in all aspects of the operations of the publishing house. She works with the help of a highly competent team, assembled to not only meet the company's current objectives but to also expand the scope of growth in keeping with the goals established by the Chairman.
Mrs. Singh brought to Plural fifteen years of hands-on experience as the CEO and President of the highly successful publishing company, Singular Publishing Group, acquired by Thomson in 1999. Her expertise is in quality control, the production process of books and journals, scheduling and time management, money management, sales, and customer service.
Scott Barbour
Senior Acquisitions Editor
Scott has over 18 years as a writer, researcher, editor and project manager in school library publishing, educational software, medical education and web marketing. He spent thirteen of those years in editorial positions with San Diego based Greenhaven Press (now owned by Cengage). He oversees our editorial department and is the active acquiring editor in the fields of speech-language pathology, swallowing and voice, and singing. Scott has a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Master of Social Work from San Diego State University.
Amanda Licata
Assistant Editor
Mandy coordinates and oversees all administrative functions for our Editorial department. She is responsible for maintaining our editorial calendar and assisting the editors with author communications and follow-up. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication with Minors in Literature and Writing from University of California, San Diego.
Caitlin Mahon
Production Coordinator
Caitlin coordinates and administers all pre-production and manufacturing requirements for our publications and plays an integral role in copy-editing, book and jacket design and lay-out. She has served in a similar role for a New York based academic publisher. She holds a Master of Arts in Psychology from the New School for Social Research and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Summa cum Laude, from University of California at Santa Barbara.
Casey J. Stach
Assistant Editor, Audiology
Casey J. Stach is an audiologist at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, where she provides clinical services to pediatric and adult cochlear implant patients. She is Plural's assistant editor for audiology textbooks, serving in that role since 2007. She received her Master's degree in Audiology from Michigan State University in 1989. Since then, she has worked at several prestigious medical centers, including Johns Hopkins Hospital, the University of California San Francisco, IWK Grace Hospital in Halifax, and St. Louis Children's Hospital.
Brian Summerville
Controller & CFO
Brian holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Accounting from the University of Tennessee. His expertise in business comes from his many years of experience working in finances including his work at Reliastar Managing Underwriters Inc, a subsidiary of the Fortune 500 company ING. In July of 2000 Brian relocated to San Diego where he furthered his skills as a Revenue Accounting Manager at World Access Inc. and as an Accounting Manager for the Port of San Diego. Brian has additionally worked with Keystone Communities Inc. as a Controller. Here at Plural Brian is an invaluable part of our team.
Annabel Chindamay

Karie Weller
Office Manager
Before joining the Plural team Karie worked in banking in her hometown of East Peoria, Illinois. She relocated to San Diego in early 2000 where she worked for ten years in real estate as a Resident Property Manager. She also worked for Telecom Data Solutions as an Accountant. Karie assumes the position of office manager and handles daily orders, customer inquiries, and works closely with the accounting and marketing departments.
Tim Kelehan
Warehouse Manager
Tim has worked in and around books and the publishing industry since college. He has a BA from the University of Maryland in Spanish and French. After an 18 year career with Barnes & Noble as a store manager in Baltimore, the Washington, DC area, and San Diego, he joined Plural Publishing in the fall of 2005. Tim runs the warehouse, manages the inventory, and helps in customer service and at various conferences across the country.
